Self cleaning Ovens

All Self-cleaning ovens clean without the use of any chemicals by using an approximately 900 degrees Fahrenheit high temperature cycle to burn off greasy spills leftover from cooking.

A self-cleaning oven is designed with safty feature called an mechanical interlock to keep the oven door locked and closed during and just after the very high-temperature cleaning cycle, which can be a number of hours.
